National #TeachAg Day — September 18, 2025

September 18

Join the nationwide celebration of agricultural education on National #TeachAg Day, happening Thursday, September 18, 2025! This year, the National Association of Agricultural Educators (NAAE) is turning up the excitement with a brand-new, interactive activity: the #TeachAg Breakout Challenge.

What is the Breakout Challenge?

This team-based, breakout-style puzzle activity invites high school students to work together, crack codes, and unlock clues - all while learning about the exciting, high-impact career of agricultural education. The challenge is built to highlight how students' unique skills, personalities, and talents can make them successful and inspiring ag teachers.

Who can participate?

  • Secondary ag teachers who are NAAE members can sign up to lead the challenge in their classrooms.
  • Collegiate ag education programs are also encouraged to host a challenge, either on campus or by visiting a local school!

What's included?

  • A #TeachAg Breakout Challenge Kit, shipped directly to your school
  • Step-by-step instructions to run the challenge on September 18
  • Access to the Breakout Wall, where teams post their time and photos
  • A chance to win glory and bragging rights for the best completion time!

Students will complete the challenge, snap a team photo, and see how they stack up against ag programs across the country.
