These events will expose students to the wonderful world of career opportunities in Agricultural Education, engage them in interactive learning experiences, and connect them with students and faculty from each of the three Minnesota institutions with Ag Ed teacher preparation programs. These opportunities are designed for students in grades 9-12.

Minnesota is joining the nationwide celebration of National Teach Ag Day on Thursday, September 18, 2025! This day recognizes the incredible impact of agricultural education and the teachers who make it possible.

Minnesota's Celebration

While National Teach Ag Day is observed across the country, Minnesota's focus is simple and powerful: agricultural education changes lives and Minnesota needs more passionate teachers.
Throughout September, Minnesota Teach Ag will share facts, stories, and highlights leading up to Teach Ag Day, with the biggest celebration happening on September 18.

How to Participate

  • Agriculture Teachers: Celebrate with your students by taking a group photo on Sept 18 and posting it on social media tagging our Teach Ag Minnesota social media account.
  • Students & Alumni: Thank an agriculture teacher who has made a difference in your life.
  • FFA Chapters & Schools: Share shout-outs and join the celebration online.
  • Community Members: Follow along on social media and share how agricultural education has impacted you.
