Future AgriScience
Teacher (FAST) Symposium

The Midwest Future Agriscience Teacher (FAST) Symposium event is for all collegiate students from Minnesota and surrounding states (undergraduate or graduate) majoring in agricultural education. The Symposium is held in January in conjunction with the Minnesota Association of Agricultural Educators (MAAE) AgTech Conference. Registration and more detailed information is available by November every year.

National FAST Opportunities

The Future Agriscience Teacher (FAST) Symposium is a national-level professional development experience for preservice agricultural education majors which provides customized professional development, networking, and mentoring with current and future agriculture teachers from across the country.

Join Your Collegiate Major Professional Organization

It is worthwhile to join your local collegiate professional organizations related to your major as well! The tricky part is that each college or university has a different name for their agricultural education club. Below you will find a list of these universities and the official name of their agricultural education collegiate professional organization. You can also join as a student member to the national and state agriculture teacher associations
