Supporting the Future of Agricultural Education
Minnesota Teach Ag is excited to welcome Emily Liebl as she joins the Minnesota Agricultural Education Leadership Council (MAELC) as Program Coordinator.
Emily brings a strong connection to agriculture, youth development, and communications. Growing up on a small hobby farm outside of Northfield, Minnesota, she developed a love for agriculture early in life. Today, she continues that connection by raising fainting goats and Scottish Highland cattle on her farm.
From 4-H Roots to Statewide Impact
Emily’s path also includes a strong connection to 4-H. Her involvement in youth programs helped spark her passion for agriculture and leadership, and she later served as an Extension Educator with the Grant County 4-H program. Through that role, she saw how agricultural education helps students build confidence, explore careers, and develop leadership skills.
Bringing Communication and Connection to the Work
In addition to her agriculture and education experience, Emily has a degree in marketing from The College of St. Scholastica and a background in communications, social media strategy, and community engagement. Most recently, she served as Social Media Manager for Walser Automotive Group.
In her role with MAELC, Emily will support program development, event coordination, communications, and outreach efforts that help strengthen agricultural education across Minnesota.
“I am excited to join MAELC and contribute to the work being done to strengthen agricultural education across Minnesota,” Emily said. “Agriculture has always been an important part of my life, and I look forward to helping support the educators, students, and industry partners who are creating opportunities for the next generation.”
As Emily steps into this role, Minnesota Teach Ag looks forward to the ways her experience, energy, and passion for agricultural education will support students, educators, and partners across the state. Please join us in welcoming Emily to Minnesota’s agricultural education community.
